4 Way Interclub Competition Result (Part 2-Prints) - Tuesday 25th February 2014.

On Tuesday 25th February 2014, Gosforth Camera Club hosted Part Two of the Four Way Interclub competition between
Gateshead, Gosforth, Cramlington and Morpeth. Each club had submitted four colour and four monochrome prints, which
were marked out of thirty by guest judge Dave Coates of Northallerton Camera Club.
In this two part competition the scores from the Projected Digital Image section (part 1, held on 19/11/13) are added to
the scores of the Print Section (part 2) to decide the winners. There was very little between the clubs after the Projected
Digital Image section and it was a similar story in this competition as the lead changed hands several times throughout
the evening as Dave commented on each print. On the night Morpeth and Gateshead shared joint first place after both
gained 209 marks, Gosforth were third with 208 marks and Cramlington forth with 198 marks. The scores from both the
competitions were then combined giving the overall totals and result as follows -

1st. Gateshead - Pdi 213, Prints 209,= Total 422.
2nd. Morpeth - Pdi 205, Prints 209,= Total 414.
3rd. Gosforth - Pdi 204, Prints 208,= Total 412.
4th. Cramlington - Pdi 198, Prints 194,= Total 392.

So congratulations to Gateshead who take the trophy as overall winners, but a very good effort from Morpeth members
who submitted some excellent prints for our entry.
