7 Way Interclub Knockout Competition - Sunday 25th November 2012.

The Northern Counties Photographic Federation 7 way Interclub Competition was held on Sunday 25th November 2012.
This annual knockout is hosted each year by a different club and this year Alnwick Camera Club offered a warm welcome to
Morpeth Camera Club, Amble Photographic Society, Cambois Camera Club, Wooler Camera Club, Blyth Photographic Society
and Ashington Camera Club. All clubs entered the first round with the top four clubs going forward to the semi final in the
Trophy Competition and the other three clubs dropping out to contest the Plate Competition.
Morpeth progressed to the semi final along with Cambois, Alnwick and Blyth. In a close contest however it was Cambois (191)
and Alnwick (189) that went through to the final. Morpeth finishing third (185), and Blyth forth (170). In the Plate competition Ashington (156) came out on top beating Amble (153) and Wooler (146). The panel of three judges, Anne Swearman, Alan
Porrett and Dave Phillips had had a difficult task and the final was no different, it being decided by just one point in favour of
Alnwick (192) to Cambois (191). Members from all clubs then enjoyed an excellent buffet tea that rounded off a good afternoon.
