4 Way Interclub Competition (Part 2 Prints) - Tuesday 19th February 2013.

On Tuesday 19th February 2013, Morpeth Camera Club hosted Part Two of the Four Way Interclub competition between Gateshead, Gosforth, Cramlington and Morpeth. Each club had submitted eight prints that were marked out of thirty by Guest Judge Malcolm Kus, ARPS, DPAGB, EFIAP , of Alnwick Camera Club. In this two part competition the scores from the Projected Digital Image section (part 1) are added to the scores of the Print Section (part 2) to decide the winners. After part one things were quite close with it all to play for as Malcolm quickly got into his stride commenting on each print including some moody portraits, street scenes, derelict interiors and ethereal landscapes.Two prints were awarded the maximum 30 marks, " Salen Boat at Sunset " from Cramlington
and " Engine Driver " from Gateshead. The final results were as follows-

1st. Gateshead - Pdi 179, Prints 214, Total 393.
2nd. Gosforth - Pdi 178, Prints 200, Total 378.
3rd. Morpeth - Pdi 176, Prints 194, Total 370.
4th. Cramlington - Pdi 152, Prints 194,Total 346.

Morpeth Club Chairman Dave Illingworth thanked Malcolm for his constructive comments,fair judgement and amusing narative throughout the evening as The Four Way Interclub Trophy was presented to Gateshead Camera Club.
