Chris started off the proceedings by showing photographs taken in Matlock, Severn Valley, including images taken at King’s Cross Station and in Germany. He then continued with two short audio-visual presentations illustrating his interest in railways.
Chris Earl followed with scenic photographs of Cyprus including Pathos, the Troodos Mountains and Kyrenia.

Newcastle Quayside was shown by Dave Illingworth.
Stephanie Robson followed with a beautiful audio-visual presentation entitled ‘Colours of France’ and Elaine Illingworth entertained us with her very unusual abstract images. The evening continued with a selection of photographs taken by Gordon Hine, showing Warkworth, The Hoppings, Port of Blyth, Netherwitton and Marsden.
Lional Bryan was next and presented us with his delightful images taken in Provence and its lovely old villages, vineyards and
markets, while Mark Harrison’s photographs were taken on the club’s summer walks, on holiday in Benidorm, Valencia Market
and a WWII re-enactment day.The evening concluded with a presentation by Mike Weighall entitled ‘Irish Miscellany’ which
included wall art on the Shanklin Road, the Ulster Folk Museum, and views of Strangford Lough.
The aim of the evening was for recent new members or members who would not normally get up in front of house, to show their work and the result was a great success.
The Chairman thanked Chris and all those who had taken part for making it a very enjoyable evening.
