7 Way Interclub Print Competition - Tuesday 30th October 2012.

On Tuesday 30th October 2012, Morpeth Camera Club hosted the annual 7 Way Northern Area Print Competition.
Each of the seven clubs that make up the NCPF Northern Area were invited to submit 8 photographs which this year were judged by Jane Black, ARPS,FPSA, Hon PAGB, who is not only a respected judge and author, but has also held the post of Chair of the Northern Counties Photographic Federation.
After offering advice, praise and constructive remarks Jane awarded each print a mark out of 30. When the scores were added up, it was revealed that Ashington received 163 pts, Wooler 165 pts, Blyth 170 pts, Amble 186 pts, Cambois 198 pts, and with just point in it Alnwick came first with 205 pts with Morpeth in second place with 204 pts.
Jane then presented the trophy to Jane Coltman who received it on behalf of the Alnwick & District Camera Club.
Jane was thanked by Chairman, Dave Illingworth for such an interesting and informative evening, after which there was a raffle and buffet for members of all the clubs involved.
