7 Way Interclub Print Competition - Wednesday 18th January 2023.

On Wednesday 18th January 2023, it was the turn of Cambois Camera Club to host the annual 7 Way Interclub
Print Competition. Camera Clubs from Ashington, Alnwick, Amble, Morpeth, Blyth, Cambois, and Wooler make
up the Northern Area of the Northern Counties Photographic Federation and each were invited to submit four
Colour & four Monochrome prints on any subject. Stuart Skelsey LRPS CPAGB BPE1* from Whitley Bay Camera
Club had been invited to judge this competition and he stated that he expected a higher standard of prints to
be submitted in an interclub competition and that he would judge and mark accordingly. He then commented
on each individual print before awarding a mark out of thirty. In a close competition Ashington came first with
Cambois runners up and the highest scoring print was a monochrome print from Ashington entitled True Grit.
