7 Way Interclub Win for Morpeth Camera Club - Sunday 7th April 2013.

On Sunday 7th April 2013, Wooler Camera Club hosted the Annual Seven Way Interclub PDI Category Competition.
In this competition each of the *Seven clubs had to enter ten images with not less than one and no more than two
images in the each of the following categories, Landscape, Interiors, Portraits & Photo Journalism, Flora & Fauna,
Still Life, and Fantasy, Myth, Legend or Religion.
Jane Black, ARPS, APSA, Hon PAGB, of Sunderland Photographic Association, had agreed to judge the competition,
comment on each image and then give a mark out of 30 based on her opinion as to whether the image best
reflected the category in which it was entered.
The scores for each clubs individual images were added together and in a close competition Morpeth Camera Club
came out on top. The results were as follows,

1. Morpeth Camera Club........................250 pts.
2. Amble Photographic Group..................246 pts.
3. Blyth Photographic Society.................245 pts.
4. Alnwick & District Camera Club............244 pts.
5. Ashington Co Op Camera Club.............240 pts.
6. Wooler Camera Club..........................214 pts.
7.*Cambois Camera Club Failed to submit an entry or attend.

A big thank you to Morpeth Members who submitted images for consideration and to Steve Mcdonald, Vince Rooker,
Davy Bolam, Glyn Trueman, Ian Cadwallender and Mark Harrison whose images were used to good effect in this
competition. President Vince Rooker and Secretary Dave Bisset represented the club at the event and they collected
the Trophy which will be on display at the club meeting on Tuesday 9th April 2013.
