4 Way Interclub Competition at Gateshead (Part 2) - Thursday 28th February 2019.

On Thursday 28th February 2019, Gateshead Camera Club hosted Part 2 of the 4 Way Interclub Competition between
Cramlington, Gateshead, Gosforth and Morpeth camera clubs.  Each club had submitted five monochrome prints and
five colour prints, which were marked out of thirty by visiting judge, David Stout EFIAP, DPAGB, PPSA from Whickham
Photographic Club. Before announcing his scores, David commented on each of the forty prints, offering his personal
observations with constructive comments where relevant.

With two of the club’s prints scoring a maximum of 30 points, Liverpool Museum Steps by Glyn Trueman and Tea
Break by Pat Wood and four other prints each scoring 29 points, Morpeth scored the most points on the night. After
the scores from the Projected Digital Image section of the competition, (held on 22nd November 2018) were added,
Morpeth narrowly won the two-part competition by just 4 points. This was a great improvement on last season’s 4th
place. Having not won this competition since 2012 our thanks go to Dave Bisset, Davy Bolam, Mark Harrison, Peter
Downs, Glyn Trueman and Pat Wood, who's prints made up our winning entry.
At the end of the evening David Stout was thanked for judging the competition and the ‘Pro-Lab 4-Way Challenge
Cup’ was presented to Glyn Trueman, representing Morpeth Camera Club. The scores for the competition were:
