N.C.P.F. Club Championships Pdi & Print Results - Sunday 16th February 2020.
On Sunday 16th February 2020, the Annual NCPF Club Championships were held at the Clara Vale Village Hall, Clara
Vale, Ryton. Twenty four clubs competed in the Projected Digital Image Section & Sixteen clubs competed in the Print
Section. Three judges were tasked to view and mark the 480 images & 320 prints live in front of the audience, using
the electronic scoring machine each gave a mark from 2-5. So the minimum an entry could score was 6 (3x2) & the
maximum 15 (3x5).
Pdi Competition.
The winning club was Gosforth CC with a total of 243 pts followed by Alnwick cc with 227 pts. Both clubs will now
represent the Northern Counties Photographic Federation in the national PAGB PDI Competition later in the year.
The winning Digital Image was 'Winter Scene' by Bob Turner of Hexham P.S.
Morpeth CC finished in 3rd place missing out on a trip to Warwick by just 2 points and thank you to Glyn Trueman,
Sue Dawson, John Willmore, Sophie Elliott Edwards, Mark Harrison, Davy Bolam, Brian Morris, Steve Mcdonald, Paul
Appleby, Peter Downs and David Minchin whose images were selected for the Morpeth CC entry. The full Pdi result
