4 Way Interclub Print Competition - Thursday 29th February 2024.

On Thursday 29th February 2024, Cramlington Camera Club hosted Part 2 of the 4 Way Interclub Competition between
Gateshead, Cramlington, Gosforth and Morpeth Camera Clubs. Each club had submitted five monochrome prints & five
colour prints, on any subject. Stuart Skelsey LRPS CPAGB BPE1* from Whitley Bay Camera Club had been invited to be
the judge for this competition and he stated that he expected a higher standard of prints to be submitted in an interclub
competition and that he would judge accordingly, with a wide variation of individual marks.

In this contest, Morpeth CC were third on the night with Gosforth CC taking first place with an excellent set of prints. This
is a two-part competition with the marks from the Projected Digital Image section, (Part 1), held on 23rd November 2023,
being added to tonight's print scores (Part 2), to establish the trophy winner. It was then announced that Gosforth CC had
taken overall first place with Morpeth CC runners up in second place. The full scores for the competition were as follows:

                                       1st. Gosforth CC........................Pdi 261, Prints 279 = Total 540 pts.
                                       2nd. Morpeth CC.........................Pdi 263, Prints 246 = Total 509 pts.
                                       3rd. Gateshead CC......................Pdi 244, Prints 257 = Total 501 pts.
                                       4th. Cramlington CC...................Pdi 243, Prints 240 = Total 483 pts.

The Pro-Lab Trophy was then awarded to a Gosforth Camera representative and our thanks go to hosts Cramlington who
provided refreshments and a buffet supper. Thank you to the Morpeth members who travelled to Cramlington to support
the club and to Sue Dawson, Glyn Trueman, Peter Downs, Davy Bolam, Dave Bisset and Paul Appleby, whose prints made
up the Morpeth entry.

Davy.
