4 Way Interclub Comp (Part 1- pdi's) at Gateshead - Thursday 27th November 2014.

On Thursday 27th November 2014, It was Gateshead Camera Club's turn to host the Annual 4 Way Interclub Competition
at St Helens Church Hall, Belle Vue Bank, Gateshead.
Each of the four clubs involved had submitted eight images on any subject & these were judged by Northern Counties
Photographic Federation judge Malcolm Kus, ARPS DPAGB EFIAP/b from Alnwick Camera Club. Malcolm commented on
the high standard of entries before marking each image out of thirty and offering his views on what each author had
produced. Two images scored the maximum 30 Marks, one from Gosforth and one from Cramlington, but when the
scores for each clubs 8 images were totalled the result was as follows -

Morpeth Camera Club...................204 marks.
Cramlington Camera Club.............201 marks.
Gateshead Camera Club...............196 marks.
Gosforth Camera Club..................195 marks.

This was Part One of a Two Part competition with Morpeth out in front at the moment and the clubs meet again in
February for the second leg, when the Colour and Monochrome Print section will be judged and the scores from both
competitions are added together.
