Summer Walk Report   4 - Warkworth Beach, Warkworth, 19th June 2012.

On Tuesday 19th June 2012, a coastal walk was on the agenda as the Morpeth Camera Club Summer Programme continued.
Members met at the Warkworth picnic site car park and headed down to the award winning beach, intending to walk south to
Amble. With the tide falling, the large expanse of flat wet sand was ideal for images of texture, pattern and reflections.
With cameras on tripods, members captured close up detail of the flotsam and jetsam on the beach and the grasses & flowers
of the dunes.
Arriving at Amble harbour, a walk out on the north pier gave good views of Coquet island to the east and a different view of
Amble and the River Coquet to the south and west. A spectacular sunset with a pinky orange & blue sky ended another fine
informal evening of photography.Thank you to everyone who attended.
